Scam Warning: VirtualGet dot net

There is a website at the address VirtualGet dot net (I’m not going to link to that scum) pretending to be a XStreet SL type site that sells virtual items in second life. This website is a SCAM and appears to be an attempt at acquiring credit card numbers.

TalTECH Weapons does not sell firing ranges (or any other product) on the VirtualGet website They are using copies of listings from XStreet to scam people, Don’t fall for it

Purchase TalTECH ranges only in SL or from XStreet SL

Firing Range and Results Boards bug

There is a bug in the 2.0.1 series of firing ranges which will stop results boards out with shouting range from picking up results from that range. If you have been unable to get your result board to display results, this might be the issue.

I will try and make an update to the ranges available at the weekend.

The battle plan never survives first contact with the enemy.

All good plans etc, but I’ve found a bug in all firing ranges and results boards relating to the display of the 6th to 9th results set. While the results were stored correctly, the 5th set would be displayed when the use requested the 6th to 9th set. A new update, version 2.0.1, of all ranges and the results boards are now available from the update server.

New and Updated Firing Ranges

TalTECH is proud to annouce the release of updates to the complete range of TalTECH Firing Ranges. An update to the Results Boards are also available and required for use with 2.0 ranges.

Updates to new Version 2.0 Ranges are available for all owners of 1.x.x ranges Free and at No Charge. To update your range, take the range offline and select Update from the admin menu. Please be aware that we are expecting a large demand for updates, if the range says none are available please try again later.
